Terms of service

By creating an account or using CahooTravel (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

CahooTravel is a travel price comparison tool that searches for accommodation prices across regions and booking platforms. We display price information retrieved from third-party platforms at the moment of search. We do not guarantee specific savings, specific results, or the availability of any particular price at the time of booking. Prices on booking platforms can change in real time and the price shown in search results may differ from the price available when you click through.

Who handles payments

All paid subscriptions to CahooTravel are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, you are buying from Paddle, not directly from CahooTravel. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment, issuing invoices, and handling refund and chargeback claims.

Paddle's terms

By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms, available at paddle.com/legal/buyers. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Paddle's terms regarding payment or billing, Paddle's terms take precedence for those matters.

Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current subscription price. You will be charged using the payment method on file with Paddle. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account billing page.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice sent to your registered email address. Continued use of the Service after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then and will not be charged again. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for cancellations mid-period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

Refund requests are subject to our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Refunds are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

Prohibited activities

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to scrape or harvest data at scale; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures; (c) use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers against the Service without our written permission; (d) resell or sublicense access to the Service; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@cahootravel.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

All content, software, designs, and trademarks associated with CahooTravel are the property of CahooTravel or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular price will be available when you click through to a booking platform. Price data is sourced from third parties and may be inaccurate or outdated.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CahooTravel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or savings, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Paddle for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice displayed on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
